“They have more than 7,000 stores. Our interest is to have at least one package robot per store, in some maybe two,” Founder and R&D Department Manager of Cleveron, Arno Kütt told businesss daily Äripäev. “If and when this will happen is to great extent up to us.”
Inditex’s first package robot has been installed and clients are already using it. The product differs to some extent from Cleveron’s package robots used by the U.S retail giant Walmart, being an upgraded version of them.
Inditex, the biggest fashion group in the world, operates over 7,200 stores in 93 markets worldwide. The company’s flagship store is Zara, but it also owns the chains Zara Home, Massimo Dutti, Bershka, Oysho, Pull and Bear, Stradivarius and Uterqüe.
