At his meeting with Jorge Domecq, Chief Executive of the European Defence Agency, in Brussels, Minister of Defence Jüri Luik discussed how to apply the conclusions drawn from the strategic level table-top exercise in policy planning.
Luik is hoping that the training exercise will bring to the forefront the limits of European Union and NATO responsibility and those situations in which their cooperation is necessary.
‘There are no borders between countries or organisations on the Internet, and when it comes to countering threats on the internet, barriers between European Union and NATO cooperation must be reduced’, said Luik.
The Minister of Defence thanked Jorge Domecq for the European Defence Agency’s support for the exercise.
The strategic level table-top exercise EU CYBRID 2017 for European Union Defence Ministers will be taking place on 7 September, in Tallinn, and is the first event of its kind.
