The Estonian Hydrogen Association is hosting the Estonian Hydrogen Days 2023 which will brings together those who are contributing to the launch of Estonia’s Hydrogen economy. Taking place in Tartu on May 25-26, 2023, it will go under the headline of “Coupling economic growth with climate”.
Striving for a cleaner future
The gathering marks two years since fulfilling the promises made at the 2021 Hydrogen Days, where the Hydrogen Valley Estonia was announced as the world’s first nationwide hydrogen valley. Now, with the project up and running, Estonia is ready to make further steps towards clean energy transition.
The Estonian Hydrogen Days 2023 aims to contribute to the launch of Estonia’s Hydrogen economy by bringing together public and private sectors from specialized fields, a wider international circle of guests, and interested parties. The event features an agenda with different segments, including Climate, Economy & Politics, Mobility, Energy & Education, and workshops focused on Production, Distribution, Storage and energy systems. The workshop day will also provide participants with an opportunity to prepare and present their deliverables.
The keynote speaker, Kadri Simson, European Commissioner for Energy, will provide a unique perspective on the role of hydrogen in Europe’s energy transition. Additionally, Hydrogen Europe representatives will provide an overview of the current state of the hydrogen industry in Europe, while the Hydrogen Valley Estonia segment will provide an update on the world’s first nationwide hydrogen valley.
The event promotes international cooperation, creates investment security, and raises public awareness of the green revolution and its possibilities through technology demonstrations. The event showcases companies that have taken the first concrete steps throughout the value chains and gives an overview of the status of various projects, activities, and the hydrogen economy in general.
