“I hope that today the European Council will send a clear message: we need a stronger, more connected and united digital Europe,” Ratas said in his doorstep remarks to international media, BNS reports.
“The European Union must be a leader in the digital revolution for the good of our people, our businesses and future generations,” the Estonian premier said.
Estonia hosted EU leaders for a Digital Summit in Tallinn on Sept. 29 as part of the Estonian presidency of the Council of the EU.
