Each year, the Estonian tech ecosystem produces dozens of success stories. No wonder there are plenty of them — Estonia holds the title of the most educated nation in Europe, with the biggest per capita numbers of funded startups and unicorns.
For over half a decade, the Estonian Startup Awards has been here to count the brightest stars on the startup horizon, celebrate the achievements of the local community, and inspire the next generation of founders to take over the world. Led by LIFT99, the Estonian Founders Society, and Invest Estonia, this event brings together the most inspiring people across all sectors of the ever-growing Estonian ecosystem.

Now, the 2023 public nomination round is open to gather the names and deeds of those who have inspired the community the most! Know someone inspiring? Make sure to cast your suggestion here. The nomination deadline is December, 17, 2023.
That will be the basis of the shortlist for the final voting. Who votes? The Estonian founders, thanks to the help of the Estonian Founders Society. The final ballot is carried out by a jury in December/January – in 2022, 235 founders “sat on the panel”.

The winners in the 8 categories for 2023 will be announced at the 5th public awards gala, taking place on February 2, 2024, in Tallinn.
