Nobe on pre-order to finance car production

Estonian startup Nobe opened pre-ordering for the electric cars on crowdfunding site Indiegogo in order to finance the full car production.

“Vehicle prototypes are ready and the next step is to start testing,“ said Roman Muljar, founder and CEO of Nobe.

The aim of the crowdfunding campaign is €100,000 which enables the company to register cars at the Estonian Traffic Register and start testing in Belgium.

The retro-style three-wheeler Nobe claims to be the world’s most sustainable car with fully upgradeable tech and hardware and is fully recyclable. It has a range of 260km on a single two-hour charge, with top speed of 130km/h, and weighs just 600kg. The interior features a built-in espresso machine and three seats for four people. The three-wheel design is the main part of the reason why the car is so light and efficient. Another clearly distinctive feature is the retro-looking design inspired by the vintage American style. The parking technology allows to be parked vertically on the side of a wall using a parking rig.

This exotic three-wheeled beauty can be bought on the site of Indiegogo for €25,715, which includes a 19% discount on the full price.

The company’s goal is to launch Estonia’s first domestic car factory and to produce first cars by spring 2020.
