Located in Pärnu, the aim of the school is to enable contemporary vocational training through level schooling and continual education, proceeding from European quality and experience, and is also taking into consideration the fact that there is a lack of qualified workers in enterprises of high importance in Estonia, especially in the field of technology and engineering. The school follows the Estonian legislation on education and is based on the National Curricula, which is being improved from time to time by the newest trends in Europe.
Through this kind of schooling the founders of the school aim to enhance people’s attitude towards vocational training as a relevant category when it comes to acquiring a profession.
The school offers education in following areas:
- Accounting
- Marketing
- Electrical Engineering
- Multimedia Design
- Information and Communications Technology

Time frame: shortest amount of time for preparing a new course (not a degree course) is usually a few months. Minimum amount of students: 10. If the company needs a degree course then it has to be confirmed in Ministry of Education and Research and that usually takes at least one year but sometimes it is possible to speed up the process.
German Technological School of Pärnu is working closely with companies on work-based learning practices, and therefore the proportion of training in companies is higher than in many other schools.
