Haapsalu Vocational Education and Training Centre is a unique and innovative vocational education institution, located near Haapsalu, in West Estonia that has a good reputation and always strives for the best quality and whose selection of specialities respond to the labour market needs.
Is also known and acknowledged by Estonian enterprises as a school whose graduates are of reliable quality plus and an internationally renowned school whose experiences are being shared with other European vocational schools.
The school is ready for cooperation with businesses, has suitable infrastructure, staff and ability to give out certificates. Time frame: shortest amount of time for preparing a new course (not a degree course) is usually within few months. Free Choice Studies usually take 1 year to implement. Minimum number of students: ca 6-19.
Starting from 2005, the school has actively participated in many international projects and has partner schools in many European countries. It has successfully conducted Leonardo da Vinci and Erasmus+ study mobility projects and participated in NordPlus Junior and Interreg projects.
In 2016, the Haapsalu Vocational Education and Training Centre obtained the Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter. The Erasmus+ VET Mobility Charter is intended to encourage organizations that have track records of proven quality in organizing VET mobility for learners and staff to further develop their European internationalisation strategies.
