Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre (IVVEC) is a public institution, situated in the north-east of Estonia, which provides initial and additional vocational training and retraining for young people and adults.
Around 2,500 students of various ages, both after basic and secondary school, study at IVVEC in 23 curriculum groups. All the curricula are offered both at school and on work-based learning scheme. Instruction languages are Estonian and Russian. The school also offers a wide range of courses for initial training, in-service education and retraining to over 3,000 adults yearly.
The school is seeking cooperation with companies in different fields – the school has suitable infrastructure, staff and ability to give out certificates. Time frame: shortest amount of time for preparing a new course (not a degree course) is 1 month. Minimum amount of students: 10.
Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre has a functioning cooperation network in Estonia and abroad. The school has highly-productive cooperation ties with educational institutions and companies in Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Sweden, Hungary, Croatia, Slovenia, Ukraine, Georgia, Armenia, Russia, Latvia and Lithuania.
