Rakvere Vocational School is the only vocational educational establishment in Lääne-Virumaa county. The school enrolls approximately 1,200 students. It has students in 11 different curricula fields. Since September 2020, there are more than 160 students in part-time general education and more than 300 in apprenticeship learning.
To serve the needs of the regional economy, Rakvere Vocational School has strong ties with many local companies.
The school is open for cooperation with companies. It has suitable infrastructure, staff and ability to give out certificates. Time frame: shortest amount of time for preparing a new course (not a degree course) is usually about 4-6 months but it can also be done faster. Minimum amount of students: if the comapny is ready to pay for the training then it can be even only for 1 person. If the company needs a degree course, then it has to be confirmed in Ministry of Education and Research and that takes at least one year.
