Europe determining how its future cities will share their airspace between drones and manned aircraft, Estonia leading the way
A new project, backed by the European Union, has set out to demonstrate how unmanned aerial vehicles, such as drones, and conventional aircraft can safely share airspace in densely populated urban areas. Called GOF 2.0 Integrated Urban Airspace Validation, the effort has a budget of €5.5 million.
