The first issue of the new and revamped Life in Estonia magazine is out

The cover story features our President Kersti Kaljulaid, who says that the Presidency will give us a chance to make a big difference by being small, flexible, and most importantly, digital. She also says that despite the country being well-off, everyone needs to work harder to promote Estonia.

Since Estonia is currently in the middle of the Presidency of the European Union, we will take a closer look at this exciting and important time for the country.

Estonian Honorary Consul in Southeast Asia, Sonny Aswani, tells that it is important to introduce Estonia in Southeast Asia and invite investors and governmental officials to Estonia. He claims that each and every time he brings visitors here, they are filled with regret about not having come sooner.

You can also read about the most recent innovations in e-Health that transform everyday lives of Estonian citizens and hopefully, very soon, also the rest of Europeans. From exporting research based e-health systems to developing the first biobank in the world and thus making personalised medicine accessible to everyone.

In the culture section, meet the most in-demand Estonian artist today – Katja Novitskova. Her most recent exhibition ‘Earth Potential’ can be seen in the City Hall Park in New York.
