Estonia is bringing innovation and sustainability to the upcoming Prospectors & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC) 2025 Convention with a special breakfast seminar on Sunday, March 2. The convention, running from March 2-5, is considered the world’s premier mineral exploration and mining event, now attracting approximately 27,000 attendees from over 135 countries.
The seminar, hosted at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre from 8:00 am to 10:00 am EST, will feature Estonian mining and innovation experts from government, academia, and industry discussing advancements along the mining value chain. Estonian Minister of Climate Ms. Yoko Alender will open the event, followed by presentations from key industry leaders.
Highlights include presentations on Estonia’s geological survey, innovation landscape, and rare earth elements competence in Europe. A panel discussion focused on innovative technologies and waste reuse will feature experts from TalTech University, EO59, and BiotaTec, moderated by Kalev Ruberg.
Attendees will have networking opportunities with representatives from various Estonian organisations, including Neo Performance Materials, Nortal, the Estonian Ministry of Climate, and Invest Estonia.
