Estonian startup Clevon introduces its autonomous robots in the USA

Autonomous robots made by Estonian startup Clevon are now driving in Northlake, Texas, bringing convenience and eco-friendly solutions to doorsteps.

In a move towards the future of last-mile deliveries, Clevon, an Estonian autonomous delivery startup, has launched its commercial service in the United States. In collaboration with PostNet Northlake and with the support of the Town of Northlake, Clevon brings the marvel of autonomous package delivery and pick-up to the residents of Northlake, Texas, making a first gain on the vast American market.

The Autonomous Robot Carriers (ARCs) developed by Clevon pack cutting-edge technology that is set to revolutionize how goods are transported and delivered in the local communities. The testing already proved that. For the past few weeks, residents living within a few miles radius of the PostNet office at 100 Plaza Place have had the privilege of receiving their packages delivered straight to their doorsteps by these intelligent, driverless robots.

Blending convenience and security

Powered by the Clevon solution, PostNet Northlake now offers an unparalleled level of convenience and safety. The residents can schedule their desired delivery time, and the ARCs will bring the packages right to their doorsteps, offering a seamless and secure experience. The service operates from Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As the partnership between Clevon and PostNet Northlake expands, the scope of services provided by the technology is also expected to grow. The ARCs may be utilized for food and grocery deliveries in the future, making them even more indispensable to the local community. Sander Sebastian Agur, CEO of Clevon, is positive about the potential impact of their ARCs. “When others are folding, Clevon is expanding! We are fulfilling our mission to build an infrastructure for making suburban deliveries affordable, safe, and foremost convenient for consumers,” he stated.

The technology introduced by Clevon is expected to lead to greater convenience and reduced expenses for the residents. Additionally, the use of autonomous robots for deliveries is predicted to result in lower energy consumption and improved environmental outcomes — a win for both customers and the planet.

Proven track record

Clevon’s ARCs have already been in operation on public roads in Europe for over three years, boasting a perfect safety record. With the increasing demand for on-demand, same-day, or next-day delivery of goods, those carriers are poised to transform the local delivery landscape, providing a cost-effective and energy-efficient solution.

Clevon’s foray into the North American market comes at a crucial time when the demand for efficient and environmentally friendly delivery solutions is soaring. With its billion-dollar delivery and autonomous solutions markets, the US presents a significant opportunity for Clevon and other Estonian startups leading in cutting-edge tech.
