The Head of Investment Agency Allan Selirand said that one of Enterprise Estonia’s priorities is helping foreign investors and the visit gives its investment advisers a chance to strengthen the cooperation with local businesses and municipalities.
„Foreign investors often only reach Estonia’s capital,“ Mr. Selirand said. „But Estonia has a lot more to offer. The regions visited, for example, have a lot of possibilities in the fields of logistics and energy, there is qualified labour and green environment.“
On March 7th the investment advisers met local government leaders and business associations in Harjumaa and visited businesses such as Ensto Ensek, Lehe Breweri and Rummu Invest. On March 8th the program continued in Rapla County where again local government leaders and heads of business associations were met. The advisers visited Salutaguse yeast plant and Arca Nova factory of wooden houses.
