Its 1,600 students make the school on of the market leaders, yet allowing it to be focused and close to its students. The school takes pride in its hands-on curricula where learning is done by doing; its network of partners from the business world, both agile startups and established industry leaders; and the lean organisation geared towards making the study experience as smooth as possible. EUAS has an alumni-network with over 5,000 graduates.
The university is experienced in cooperating with businesses – one of the best examples being cooperation with the Estonian robotics company Cleveron. In cooperation, the university and Cleveron started an applied higher education curriculum called the Cleveron Academy. The academy aims to train software developers with a specific focus on self-driving cars.
The university offers research based activities, which can help companies find opportunities to earn additional income or to optimize existing activities. Analysis that helps to evaluate the efficiency of the company, develop it and compare it with the most innovative companies in Estonia, is also offered and various customer satisfaction surveys conducted on demand. The analysis of big data includes, for example, analysis based on data collected from the (purchasing) behavior of (retail) customers, or the analysis and optimization of data-intensive processes in a (manufacturing) company.
