Estonia might be small in size, but excels in quality. That goes all the way to the quality of the logistics too — Tallinn Airport has once again proved its efficiency and competitiveness on the international stage.
The Airports Council International (ACI) has announced the top airports for 2023, with Tallinn Airport ranking first for airports serving 2-5 million passengers. Tallinn Airport also won awards in three other categories: Most Enjoyable, Easiest Journey, and Cleanest Airport in Europe.
The ACI World ASQ Awards honour top airports globally for exceptional customer experiences. Ratings are based on surveys and questionnaires covering eight categories: airport arrival, check-in, security, passport control, shopping, gate area, airport journey, and general atmosphere. ASQ, a leading airport satisfaction survey program launched in 2006, spans nearly 400 airports across 109 countries.
Tallinn Airport has been consistently recognized for its quality services, receiving awards for six consecutive years since 2018.
“The awards reflect important values for our team, and we’re happy that our efforts to make Tallinn the cosiest airport out there is being noticed by passengers,” said Riivo Tuvike, the chairman of the management board of AS Tallinna Lennujaam.
This year, the airport is prioritizing innovative solutions to enhance passengers’ terminal experience. In early April, new security control equipment will be installed to expedite the screening process. Additionally, the airport’s Business Class Lounge will reopen with an expanded and more comfortable space.
