“Interest towards the pitching competition was especially great this year. Unfortunately, due to the overall high level of the participating startups, many strong ones were left out of the TOP10. We can say that there are many promising startups in the region, despite the prevailing uncertain situation,” said Kristjan Raude, member of the board of the Estonian Business Angels Network and leader of the syndicate. “Investors have high expectations as well and we’re looking for the next success story from the region. Looking at the level of the finalists, it can be said that with the right team, guidance and support, many of them have the potential to become the next unicorn,” added Raude.
