The Alihankinta Subcontracting Trade Fair, Finland’s leading industrial event, returns to the Tampere Exhibition and Sports Centre from October 1-3, 2024. This gathering brings together over 17,000 professionals from the metal, electronics, plastics and rubber industries and industrial ICT solutions, design, and consulting sectors.
With the theme of AI-driven productivity, this year’s fair promises a unique overview of the industry’s prospects and future. This is an important opportunity for Estonia, as Finland has been the biggest export market and a close trade partner for years.
Estonia is ready to showcase its innovations at a special side event in Tampere on Tuesday, October 1st.
The event will be opened by the Minister of Economy and Industry of Estonia, Erkki Keldo. He will also join a panel of experts to discuss Smart Solutions for a Sustainable Tomorrow, focusing on innovative approaches and collaboration opportunities in pursuing sustainable industrial practices.
The minister will be joined by Kari Löllö, Division Supply Chain Manager of ABB; Kirke Maar, Manager of AI & Robotics Estonia; and Veljo Konnimois, Chairman of the Council of Federation of Estonian Engineering Industry.
Mihkel Kärg, Head of Regional Network at Invest Estonia, will moderate the session. The event presents a unique opportunity to connect with key stakeholders, explore Estonian advancements in smart technologies, and discuss future collaborations to foster sustainable development within the industry.
