Estonia is a true gateway to Europe, with its strategic position on the Baltic Sea and effective, digital-first approach to logistics. Now, another company enters the sector.
This December, Estonian logistics startup MyDello has raised €3.1M in a funding round led by Iceland’s Frumtak Ventures, with participation from existing investor Superhero Capital. The round also brought notable additions to MyDello’s board: Frumtak Ventures General Partner Andri Heiðar Kristinsson and Jevgeni Kabanov, President of Bolt and a previous investor in the company.
Founded in Tallinn in 2021 by Magnus Lepasalu, Joel Timm, and Siimu Kaas, MyDello operates a B2B digital platform that streamlines international freight transportation across multiple modes — air, rail, road, and ocean. The platform addresses longstanding inefficiencies in global logistics, a sector worth 10-12% of the global economy that still relies heavily on manual processes, paper documentation, and fragmented communication.

The platform simplifies what has traditionally been a complex process. Businesses enter basic shipment details, including origin, destination, dimensions, and weight. MyDello’s system then provides instant door-to-door pricing and routing options across different freight modes from a single inquiry. The company has established agreements with over 400 carriers and partnerships with major logistics players including DHL, Lufthansa, Maersk, Qatar Airways, and Finnair.
A key differentiator is MyDello’s focus on complex long-distance international freight, particularly routes in and out of the EU, China-linked trade, and lanes between the Americas and Europe. The platform provides real-time tracking with an AI-powered delivery countdown, giving customers visibility that has historically been difficult to achieve in international shipping.
Growth and expansion plans
Since launching four years ago, MyDello has onboarded 12,500 businesses from 110 countries and facilitated thousands of shipments. The company currently operates across 12 countries in Europe and China.
The fresh capital will fuel international expansion, starting with the UK market, where the platform is expected to launch in December. By the end of 2026, MyDello aims to operate in at least 20 European countries. The company also plans to deepen its AI capabilities, with the ambitious goal of automating most shipment operations by the end of 2026.
“When we launched MyDello in 2021, we knew there was a better way for our industry to operate,” said co-founder and CEO Joel Timm. “In just a few years, we have facilitated thousands of shipments, built up a deep customer base, and struck partnerships with hundreds of key carriers. However, this is just the start.”
